147 pages to get out of the first scene of the book. Calling people prudes when they can’t handle their grandfather having kinky sex. Deep details on how every thing works rather than the actual story….

And you read another one of his books?

Just an update - this original cartoon is still available to purchase. I don’t have much original art available anymore, because I draw most of my cartoons on the computer these days.

LIO is the best strip on today’s paper. But, the problem with a LIO movie is that LIO has little, if no diolog whatsoever. But hey, if they can figure it out I will Gladly watch.

HI julie! Thanks so much!

The brushes are pretty standard, actually. For the grass (and pretty much everything else), I use the Wet Gouache Round and block in the various different values of green, then I put the minimum size down to zero so I can get a thick to thin line. I start in the background and kind of “drag” the single strands of grass out from the already blocked-in parts. I continue like that up to the front, sort of layering it in.

Hard to explain… Maybe I’ll do a tutorial sometime, because others have asked, too.

May I ask, what sort of brushes do you use to paint your grass and foliage? Are they custom dabs?
